President's Letter
Greetings! Thank you for visiting the OCAF web site and for your interest in the Orange County chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF).
Dedicated to promote and protect advertising in Orange County, the OCAF is committed to becoming your gateway to the advertising community through networking, education and communication. We have established an amazing calendar of programs designed to inform you of emerging technology and trends, and we strive to provide you access to valuable resources. The AAF is the largest advertising trade association representing the ad industry in its entirety. AAF’s corporate members include clients, agencies and media companies that comprise the nation’s leading brands and corporations. The national network of over 200 local ad federations represents more than 40,000 advertising professionals. In addition, AAF connects the industry with an academic base through over 200 college chapters nationwide. It is this diverse membership that allows AAF to remain the leading voice for advertising: exercising government policies on the national, regional, and local levels; developing diversity programs throughout the industry; and leading educational initiatives. It is this network that also allows us to hold the largest advertising creative competition in the country - the ADDY® Awards. If you’re considering becoming a member of OCAF, I encourage you to attend one of our local events. Benefits of membership are extensive: your membership connects you to the entire advertising community and provides you with great opportunities for networking, education, and valuable discounts. AAF membership (attainable only through local chapter affiliation) provides access to special discounts on tools needed to stay current and successful in the industry and range from trade publication subscriptions to web and telecommunication services.
